The CCG is responsible for commissioning (or buying) healthcare services from other providers to meet the health needs of people in Richmond. We use a range of procurement processes including Any Qualified Provider, competitive and non-competitive tendering.

We regularly appraise the services we commission so we can continue to identify ways to improve efficiency, extend choice and access, as well as improve patient experience.

The NHS standard contract is used by NHS commissioners to commission NHS funded services. Find out more about NHS standard contracts on the NHS England website.

Contracts with our healthcare providers

We hold contracts with hospitals, community and mental health trusts, ambulance trusts and other organisations which provide treatment and healthcare.

For all contracts Richmond CCG uses the NHS Standard Contract. This is mandated by NHS England for use by commissioners for all contracts for healthcare services other than primary care.
As part of our commitment to being open and transparent, a list of our contracts with healthcare providers is available here. Please note that this is a dynamic document and as such is subject to frequent change and correction.
