Help improve local cancer services

Richmond Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wants to hear from local people who have gone through treatment for cancer or cared for someone with the condition in the last five years.

We are looking at ways to improve the early detection of cancer and the support offered to people living with and beyond the condition.

A workshop will be held in the autumn and local people are invited to share their experiences. If you have gone through cancer treatment in the last five years then we really want to hear from you. All experiences – good or not so good – will help us learn and improve future care and support.

All the discussions will be managed sensitively by local health staff and personal information will be kept confidential. This is a genuine opportunity to help make a difference to people who are diagnosed with cancer in the future. Please do get in touch if you can help.

Other opportunities to get involved are:

- Help develop patient information.
- Comment on future plans.
- Become a member of the cancer strategy group to ensure that patient and carer views inform future planning. The meetings           take place every 4-6 weeks during business hours in Twickenham.
