Local people will have the chance to find out about the latest range of audiology products and services available for adults and children with hearing loss at an audiology open day event on Tuesday 1 July.

At the event, audiology experts from Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust will be on hand to showcase the latest range of wireless accessories for hearing aids, and bespoke ear plugs and moulds that the trust is able to provide for local people.

When: Tuesday 1 July, 1:30-3:30pm
Where: Ground Floor, Thames House, Teddington, TW11 8HU

Find out about the latest hearing accessories:
The trust's paediatric audiology department offers the latest hearing aid accessories for adults and children, at a small cost that covers the product and the expert knowledge required to link these devices successfully to hearing aids.

The trust's range of wireless/Bluetooth hearing aid accessories are designed for use with MP3 players, handheld games, mobile phones, tablets/computers, and TV – and stream sound directly from these electronic devices to compatible hearing aids, with the sound automatically adjusted for the patient's hearing loss.

Paediatric audiology experts from the trust will be on hand at the event to demonstrate the advantages and potential of these new products, and to discuss the difference they can make to children and adults who wear hearing aids – or to answer any questions you may have.

Ear plugs products:
Members of the audiology team will be showcasing the trust's range of bespoke ear plug/ear mould products, which are custom made and moulded to the shape of the patient's ear.

The products include: floatable swim plugs, musician plugs, earphones plugs and noise protection ear plugs, and can be tailored for the patient's requirements.

You can find out more about the range of ear plugs and moulds the trust provides on our Paediatric Audiology page, by clicking on the 'Ear plugs and moulds' tab.
